Meet me and The Spanish Love Deception

I cannot believe I'm about to say what I'm about to say but, welcome to my author site!

Alright, that felt actually pretty great. Although it did feel a little weird too. But good-weird. A kind of weird that I could (and hope to) get used to.

Anyway. Before we get into it, I'd like to say thank you. Yes, you. Because you are here and the fact that you are reading this, that you came to my site and that you might be adding my book to your tbr, means the world to me. It gives me a purpose. It does make it all worth it. So thank you.

Now that that's out of the way, I guess it's time to talk about the elephant in the room. Yeah, that book-sized elephant that I might have been teasing you with for a couple months #oops. I'd love to say that I am sorry about that, but I would be lying. So instead I'll tell you something I mean with all my heart. And that is that I hope you are as excited as I am to embark this journey that it's about to start. And speaking of, without further ado, I'd like to officially introduce you to my baby, that piece of my heart that I am about to release into the universe:

The Spanish Love Deception

TSLD, meet everyone. Everyone, please, meet TSLD.

I swear I might have fainted for a second or two after typing that. BUT moving on with what you are here for, TSLD, or The Spanish Love Deception, is a contemporary romantic comedy that I hope you'll love as much as I do. After years of numerous ideas and failed attempts to bring them into paper, it was TSLD the one that managed to own my whole heart and stick with me until the end.

This novel, these characters, have been robbing me of my focus and much needed sleep for a little over a year. But it wasn't until the world was hit by this bizarre situation we are still living and weathering as best as we can, that I sat down and fully immersed and dedicated myself to it. Fast forward to a few months after, I have a 148k manuscript that's about to be handed over to an editor. Yes, I know what you are thinking. That is a long book. And it is. Or perhaps you are thinking, heck, did she really write a book during lockdown? And yes, it looks like I did. TSLD will be a corona baby (for better or for worse).

So far, I won't tell you much about The Spanish Love Deception besides that it's an enemies to lovers, a slowburn AND its heroine is a Spanish woman that might or might not be a little feisty. Not that I don't want to say more, don't get me wrong. I plan on telling you EVERYTHING about it. But I have a plan for that, and I can promise you, it will be worth the wait. Or heck, at least I hope it will.
